Nope! We sent an email to our guests and we're sorry if you didn't get it. We couldn't follow through with our May plans due to the virus. We're still going to get married, but we're holding on making any plans for now. Be well!
In the event of rain, the ceremony will be at Sulmona Restaurant at 5:30 p.m. We will email guests that day if the location moves. Keep in mind this will be a mostly standing ceremony with some seats.
Good old taxi is your best bet. Rideshare apps run from the airport but the pick up spot is inconvenient. The T runs from the airport (plan for stairs): take the Silver Line bus and transfer to the Red Line train at South Station. If you're staying in the Marriott, get off at Kendall and it is right there. If you're staying in Le Meridien, get off at Central and plan to walk about 10 minutes down Massachusetts Avenue.
We have rooms blocked at both the Boston Marriott Cambridge and Le Méridien Boston Cambridge. Both of these hotels, the ceremony site, and the reception venue are all within 15 minutes walking distance or a short taxi ride from each other. The Boston Marriott Cambridge is closer to the reception venue and right outside of the Kendall MBTA Red Line station. Le Méridien is about a block from the ceremony site and a 10-15 minute walk from the Central MBTA Red Line station. There are many other hotels at various prices and locations around the city. See the "Hotels" tab to see some other suggestions.
The only young children we can accommodate at the reception are our nieces and nephews. We ask that guests are ages 15 and above. Thank you for understanding.
If you are from out of town and need a sitter for the evening of May 9th, please call or text Janie or Matthew before April 25 and we can provide you with some trustworthy options.
Boston is very accessible by MBTA train and bus lines, taxis, and rideshare apps. Parking and traffic are generally unpleasant. If you are planning to stay around Boston and Cambridge, a car usually isn't necessary.
