We met at work when we both worked in Vacaville. Shout out to SCIF! It started when we went out with coworkers one Friday evening in Feb 2016. Matt was being a gentleman and walked me to my car at the end of the night. He asked for my number to "make sure I made it home safe." He knew I was commuting to Sacramento because we had talked about carpooling with another coworker. When I got home, he texted me "Did you make it home boo?" LOL. but I didn't write him back.... After that, we didn't talk for a few days once we got back to work but our coworker turned friend got us to talk again. We made up and we started carpooling the next day. It really started on March 11, 2016, another Friday evening with coworkers. This time at our spot, a bar called Hide-A-Way in Vacaville. This particular night we had a few drinks and he told me that I treated him like a ghost. I don't know what clicked in my head but I immediately SAW him after that. Later that night we kissed and I told him, "you know we go together, right?"

6.24.2021 It was the morning of my birthday, Matt was working in the home office and he came in the room to wake me and tell me "Happy Birthday." I rolled out of bed, eyes crusty and morning breath. He came out of our closet after I got done using the restroom and washing my hands. He hugged me, told me he loved me, dropped to his knee and said he can't wait to spend the rest of his life with me. Remember I said my eyes were crusty and I had morning breath, yea I still did. MY MAN DID NOT CARE, YOU HEAR ME?! He said "Juju, will you marry me?" I dropped to my knees with him and cried. Then laughed in joy and disbelief for a little while. It was such a Matt Matt proposal and I loved it...
