Denver International Airport

Guests can fly into Denver International Airport (DIA) it is about 45 minutes to an hour from the Lakewood / Golden area. We live in Lakewood and the wedding ceremony / reception will both be held in Golden. There are car rental services, and we also have a light-rail train that will take you from DIA to Downtown Denver where you can switch trains to the W-Line to get to Lakewood.

Monarch Casino Resort Spa Black Hawk

We are escaping to the Monarch Resort for a few days after the wedding. The Monarch would be a fun place to stay if you are coming in from out of town. The Monarch is in the mountains, about a 1-hour drive from the venue and 1.5-hour drive from the airport. If you are looking for other lodging options, I would suggest looking in Golden (close to venue, suburbs of Denver, close to Red Rocks), Lakewood (where we live, 15 minutes to venue, close to the mountains), or Downtown Denver (great restaurants and bars, Rockies baseball games, lots of hotel options). There are also Airbnb and Vrbo options available for rent.
