We are getting married!

It was a Friday night in October when we went to our high school's varsity football game. There were only a few minutes left of the game when out of nowhere Matthew had turned to me and asked me a random question. I was so caught off guard because I had never seen him before or knew where this question came from or if he even meant it for me or someone behind me. Once I responded he chuckled at it and turned to his friends and said he was going to leave before the game finished so he could beat the rush. I never caught his name, only the name on the back of his hoodie. The entire weekend I continued to think about him and our conversation. The following Monday I went to school and asked a friend if they recalled who I was talking to and I remembered his hoodie had the name "Callan" on it. He had said "Oh yeah! That's Matt. We play soccer together and he is a pretty cool guy. I can get his number for you if you would like". I told him that would be great. At the end of the school day we found each other and he gave me Matthew's number and said "He told me to tell you to text him". Not sure if that was true or not, I sent him a text anyways saying "Hey! I am the girl from the football game that you talked to right before you left. My name is Haley" to which he replied back "Hey! I'm Matt". From there the conversations, relationship, and love grew for another 16 years!
