Flying into South Bend is tricky! For those who do not fly into the South Bend airport, it is possible to fly into Chicago O'Hare and either drive, Uber, or take the train (see below) into South Bend.

The Midway airport is slightly closer to South Bend than O'Hare. It is possible to drive, Uber, or take the train (see below) from Midway.

The Amtrak station in Chicago is located at Union Station. It is about 20 minutes away by car from O'Hare or 40 minutes away by subway. The Blue Line leaves from O'Hare, and the stop closest to Union Station is the Clinton stop. Union Station is about 20 minutes away by car from Midway or 30 minutes away by subway. The Orange Line leaves from Midway, and the stop closest to Union Station is the Quincy stop. The Amtrak arrives into South Bend at the Amtrak station on West Washington Street.
