FAQs

The Wedding Website of Geena Hooper and Matthew Woodard
Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, please click the RSVP tab here on our website and type in your name. All invited guests in your party will appear here to mark as "attending" or declining.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by October 16th, 2026. We will be sending a final headcount to our vendors following this deadline.

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot attend, please make sure to mark declining on your RSVP.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests. We are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Your invitation will be made out to "(Your Name) & Guest" if a plus one has been given to you. Thanks for understanding.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of some immediate family. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The chapel doors will open at 4:00 PM on Saturday, November 28, 2026. Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. We kindly ask that guests arrive early and be seated before the ceremony begins so you don't miss a moment of our special day.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Dress code is cocktail attire. Ladies are encouraged to wear cocktail dresses, midi dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or elegant separates. Men are encouraged to wear a suit or sport coat with dress pants, a dress shirt, and dress shoes. Ties are optional but welcomed. Feel free to embrace the season with rich fall colors, jewel tones, or classic neutrals.

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! We will have a selection of beer and wine.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have a hotel block at the Drury Inn and Suites in Jackson, MO. Please see the Travel tab on our website to book your hotel room.
