If your local airport doesn't fly into Palm Springs, Ontario will be your best option. It's just a little over an hour from Palm Desert and a straight shot down the 10 freeway. Southwest Airlines regularly runs specials for this location!

Cities in the Desert
Coachella Valley's area is less than 30 square miles (the city of LA is almost 20 times that!), so each city is relatively close. But keep in mind that most resorts are located far off the freeway and a 10 mile drive can easily turn into a 30 minute trip depending on the stoplights. We suggest choosing a Hotel or Air B&B in Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, Indian Wells, Bermuda Dunes, or La Quinta. However, if you are interested in a younger scene, night life, and more modern accommodations, Palm Springs is definitely worth checking out!
