No updates at this time. If you have any questions please feel free to contact either groom:)
We will be Flying into Oahu on the 9th of April and leaving on the 20th.
While we will be arrive a few days in advance we recommend that everyone attending the wedding arrive no later than the 11th unless you are a part of the wedding party or immediate Family in which case we recommend arriving no later than the 10th. However we encourage everyone to stay in paradise as long as you'd like:)
We welcome anyone wanting to stay at our wedding venue resort with us for the time we are there or book at our second hotel location the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa. We also put a recommendation from our previous travels to the Aloha state under the travel tab. But we encourage everyone to look around and find what works best for you, just keep in mind the majority of hotels, restaurants, and shops will be in the Honolulu Waikiki area.
Depending on where you plan on staying and what you are planning to do while in Oahu we would encourage getting a car rental for your stay, especially if you plan on traveling to multiple parts of the island. We definitely encourage car pooling to help split costs. However, if you mainly plan on staying in the Honolulu area and don't mind walking and Ubering then you should be fine without. Just keep in mind if you do rent a car most places do charge daily parking fees.
The Ceremony will be outside on a grass lawn over looking the Ocean while the reception will be held indoors.
The ceremony attire will be "Island formal" so think above business causal but less than black tie events for your outfit. Think light fabrics like linen. No shorts, No jeans, No all white
There's lots to do and experience in Hawaii but to help give you an idea we put a few recommendations to look at on our "Things To Do tab":). This list is not extensive as there is just so much to choose from especially for first time visitors so we implore our guests to look into their own excursion activities that you might what to book during your stay.
The sun starts to rise around 6am and start to set around 6:30pm each day so we suggest to plan your activities earlier in the day.
The temperature during mid-April in Honolulu offers consistently warm, pleasant weather, perfect for beach activities, with average daytime highs in the low 80s°F, dipping to the mid-60s°F at night, marking a shift from the wetter winter to drier, sunny conditions, with comfortable ocean temperatures around 75-77°F perfect for swimming.
