FAQs

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

It has been challenging to secure a block of rooms because the Iron Man is taking place that same weekend. We recommend any hotel near The Waterway, The Woodlands Mall, Market Street, or "downtown" Woodlands area. If you prefer you may look into an Airbnb in the area.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00PM. Please arrive no later than 4:30PM to allow time to park, enter the chapel, and find a seat. Please keep in mind this is a Catholic Mass Nuptial Ceremony. Due to the sacred nature of the ceremony late entry will not be permitted.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal - please, no jeans. Our ceremony is taking place in The Catholic Church so please keep modesty in mind. Please refer to the details card in the invitation to see the colors of our special day! You also may want to bring a sweater or jacket. I know April in Texas is hot, but the church might not be.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We kindly request that you enjoy the sacred moment presently with us and leave cellphones or cameras in your purse or pocket during the ceremony. We have hired an awesome team of photographers to capture every detail of the wedding, and we will share those photos with you afterwards!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is plenty of parking available at St. Anthony of Padua. For the reception, the Marriot Hotel has a parking garage behind the restaurant.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes we are! We are registered on Amazon. Please see the "registry" tab for a direct link.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

This is an adult event that is kid friendly. If you are unable to find a sitter, your kids will still be welcome to join our celebration! Please speak with the bride and groom if your kids were not included in the wedding invitation. Also, please keep in mind since this a Catholic Nuptial Mass, the ceremony will be longer than the typical ceremonies celebrated nowadays.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have addressed the invitations to the people we would love to come. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Please ensure that you are RSVPing for yourself and your guest. Due to the limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.
