The dress code for our wedding is formal attire. Ladies have the option of a floor-length gown or fancy cocktail dress, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie.
At St. Thomas of Villanova, we are under the direction of the parish, which currently does not have any mask/social distancing rules (we will update this page accordingly if this changes). We encourage you to wear a mask if that makes you more comfortable! At the Foundry, given the amount of guests and the space we have available, we will do our best to keep everything spaced out as we are able. Also, for the sake of our guests who are either high-risk, immunocompromised, or actively caring for those who are, we require that everyone who attends be fully vaccinated, as up-to-date as possible. We know this will not eliminate all risk, but will go a long way in decreasing risk, and we are incredibly grateful for your compliance in keeping all our guests safe.
We will absolutely miss you! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP as such so we can plan accordingly.
This will be a great time for you to explore the local area, all its amazing dining options, and take a breather prior to the reception. The Phoenixville Foundry is roughly a thirty-minute drive from Villanova University, so this gap will also give you ample time to travel between locations and stop by at your hotel if needed.
Yes! There will be a 1 shuttle that makes one stop at each of the three hotels. The shuttle will pick guests up at the Desmond Hotel at 3:15pm, Courtyard at Marriott at 3:20pm, and Homewood Suites at 3:25pm. The shuttle will then take all passengers to the Phoenixville Foundry. We would recommend that if you miss the shuttle, that you either choose to drive or Uber to the venue. The shuttle will not make multiple trips to the hotels to pick up guests.
