Matthew & Emmanuelle's Wedding

Our story begins on January 26, 2018, in Ms. Shirley's English 1B class at San Jose State University. Our friendship thrived on Jesus, coffee shops, card games, church, and getting lunch between classes together. Finally, on October 8, 2018, Matthew asked Emma to be his girlfriend after getting coffee and pretending it wasn't a date. She said yes and the rest is history!

First comes school, then comes marriage!

How We Met

December 18, 2021:
Matthew and Emma along with her sister, Eva, and their friend Jeffrey had a whole day planned for Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California. Emma’s dream was to go to Disneyland during Christmas time as it is her favourite time of the year! Matthew hid the ring with Eva’s belongings and once they arrived to the front of the Sleeping Beauty Castle, Matthew got down on one knee and popped the question!
