After finishing school, starting careers, and fostering life long friendships, Matt and Emily both found something missing from their lives. In tradition with modern day romance, they found themselves swiping right, left, left, right on a dating app. Around the time of Matt's 31st birthday, he gave himself the best gift of all... matching with the woman who would change his life. It started with a date walking around Merritt Lake and a love for adventure and different cuisine, that lead to a second date, then a third, and trips to Scottsdale, Hawaii, and back east. While the travel was fun, there was more to it than that, Matt had tough critics to win over. It wasn't just friends and family, you see, Emily was a dog owner. Her dog Ronan chewed shoes, ate rugs, and shredded toys. He was protective and rambunctious, but made little noise. This sly little fox-dog was hard to win over, but Matt did it! Woohoo! He's now a proud dog owner. Emily knew deep inside that this was the right choice. Matt is honest and kind and handsome as hell. A great dog dad and everything else she wants in a man.
