Answer

Please wear Spring Cocktail or Semi-formal attire. Women, please wear floor-length dresses, midi-dresses, or a pantsuit. Men, please wear a suit and tie.

Question

What is the dress code for the Poprawiny?

Answer

Matt likes to describe it as a picnic for friends and family to continue the celebrations from the night before. There is no specific dress code, but we ask that you look comfortable, yet cute whatever that means to you! We will have yard games, outdoor and indoor seating, and barbeque.

Question

Do you have any accommodation recommendations?

Answer

Please see the travel tab to book with our group rate at the Element Charlotte Uptown. In addition, Charlotte is home to numerous hotels in various neighborhoods, including Uptown, South End, and more. Please feel free to book a hotel in a neighborhood that best suits you and your family! Charlotte also has a lot of Airbnbs that can be booked for larger groups. From the city to Lake Norman, there are options for you to choose from for your trip.

Question

Are Children Invited?

Answer

We have decided to have a child-free wedding day, but we can't wait to see all of them the next day at the Poprawiny! Please add any children who will be attending the Poprawiny on your RSVP for this event.

Question

Is there parking available at the Venue?

Answer

Yes, the Casey offers ample parking if you choose to drive to the venue.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We ask that you submit your RSVP by Sunday, March 1st, 2026, so that we are able to get an accurate count of guests. Unfortunately, if you do not respond by that time, you will be counted as unable to attend, and we will hope to celebrate with you soon following the wedding.

Question

Will it be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We will be offering a full open bar, so please plan your transportation to and from the venue accordingly.

Question

Will there be food options for those with dietary restrictions?

Answer

We will have passed appetizers at Cocktail Hour, followed by multiple food stations for you to choose from throughout the reception. The stations will provide a variety of food, so we hope those with dietary restrictions will feel like they have options. To help us ensure that this hope becomes a reality, please add any dietary restrictions you have to your RSVP card so that we can plan accordingly for both the wedding and the Popivinya.
