Why the sudden changes?

Answer

Life happens, contracts change, venue times double book and we still want to get married so we are making it happen at a wonderful venue with on-site parking :)

Where will our Wedding take place?

Answer

We are having our Ceremony and Wedding Celebration (including FOLG) at the Maplewood Club located at 489 Ridgewood Rd, Maplewood, NJ 07040.

What time should guests arrive?

Answer

UPDATE! The Ceremony will begin at 5:30 pm. We recommend family & friends arrive 20 to 30 minutes earlier to get some photos with the happy couple before they say I do!

For guests coming from out of town, where should you stay?

Answer

We recommend family & friends coming from out of town to book their stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Springfield, NJ which is no more than a 13 minute drive from the venue.

What should guests wear to celebrate the big day?

Answer

Please join us in your favorite colorful, playful, and grounded garden party outfit! We recommend bringing a change of clothes for before or after the Family Olympic Lawn Games :)

What is Sega and how does it tie into the Wedding?

Answer

Sega is the national music and dance of Mauritius, a small island in the Indian Ocean and off the coast of Africa, where Emilie and a majority of her family and even some friends at the wedding come from. Mauritians play and dance Sega as part of any festive occasion-- especially at weddings! We invite all of our family and friends who are new to Sega to listen to Li Tourner by Alain Ramanisum and watch a video on Sega and how to dance it ;)
