Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that RSVP's be responded to by February 12th, 2024. All RSVP's will be handled on our website. If multiple members are invited from the same household they will each be able to RSVP separately. Please see more below about Kids and Plus 1's.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask that guests come in cocktail attire. Have fun with it and be ready to dance!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 4pm. Please arrive to the venue at least 15 minutes prior.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. It's a 21+ wedding- thank you for understanding!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you have been given a plus 1 their name will be present at the RSVP screen. Unfortunately due to lack of space we cannot give everyone a plus 1.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have room blocks reserved at both Hotel Lincoln and Ambassador Hotel close to Cafe Brauer.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Please let us know when prompted on the RSVP online. There is a short questionnaire to help us get a gauge on important information from each guest.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Short answer - no. There is a parking lot at the Lincoln Park Zoo which has an hourly rate charge which is not covered by our venue. Chicago is a large city with very limited parking in general. We ask each guest to consider alternate options other than driving or renting a car while in the city. Both Hotel options have very limited parking options available. Street parking is difficult as there are numerous pay-to-park signs on each street with updating instructions/limitations depending on the day of the week. If driving is absolutely necessary please consider downloading the "ParkChicago" app which is the easiest way to pay for street parking. If leaving a car for multiple hours at a time, consider downloading the "SpotHero" app for long term parking options in the city.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There are no shuttles scheduled to and from the venue. Hotel Lincoln is an easy 5 minute walk across the park or an Uber/Lyft ride away. Ambassador Hotel is a 5-10 minute Uber/Lyft drive away. Ubers and Lyfts are incredibly easy to book in the city but please plan for any longer wait times around rush hour.
