Its hard to say just how many chapters into this love story we are. Was chapter one the first time Ella fell in love with Matthew back in College? Or did it start when Matthew declared his love for her in 2013? Perhaps it began officially when Matthew flew to NYC for Ella's birthday weekend and they shared their first kiss under the clock in Grand Central Station? And how many more chapters have we written? The one where Matthew got his first professional acting gig at Portland Stage and moved to Maine where Ella lived and worked. The one where we led that mission trip to Florida. The one where Ella packed up her life in Maine and moved it to Spokane to be there while Matthew recovered from shoulder surgery. The one where Matthew went to work in Florida, or Ella went to work in LA. The one where we drove together across the country from Spokane to New York. The one where Matthew proposed by an outdoor fire in the Maine mountains and Ella said yes. It's more or less impossible to say when we met, or when our first date was. But we can't wait for the next chapter - the one where we wed. And then to write a million more together. Onward!
