When is your new wedding date?
Answer
The new date is June 13th, 2021. So exactly one year from the original date.

Where will the ceremony be held?
Answer
On a rocky beach on The Oakland House property. Neither Matt nor Elise have seen it yet, but they think it'll be perfect. In case of rain, the ceremony will be held in the Barnacle Barn.

The reception will be held at the Barnacle Barn on The Oakland House property.

What time should I arrive?
Answer
The ceremony will start at 5 pm, so plan to arrive about 30 minutes ahead.

How should I RSVP to your wedding?

There is an RSVP page on this website. Start typing your name and it should pop up, along with guests.

When is the deadline to RSVP?
Answer
We will need everyone's reply no later than May 1st, 2021.

Is there a dress code?

We suggest black tie optional.

Are there any colors that I need to avoid wearing?

Our wedding colors are hunter/forest green and blueberry blue.

Will there be a shuttle available to take from where I'm staying to The Oakland House?
Answer
Unfortunately, no. If you stay somewhere other than The Oakland House, you will need to provide your own transportation. But we've been assured there is plenty of parking available.

Of course! It wouldn't be the same without them.

There will be a fish option, beef option, and a vegetarian option. We don't want to spoil the surprise!

Am I allowed to take pictures during the wedding and post them to social media?
Answer
Our ceremony will be "unplugged" so to speak. We ask that everyone just enjoy the moment and let the trained professional take the pictures. The reception on the other hand, go for it! We'd love to take pictures with everyone and share them online.

Where is the closest bathroom to the ceremony site?
Answer
The Barnacle Barn will be the closest public bathroom. Make sure to go before heading to the beach!
