Is there BYOB (bring your own beer)

Answer

Due to the venue's restrictions, we will not be doing BYOB. We will provide some sort of alcohol. Please do NOT bring your own alcoholic beverage. If you do, you will be escorted out and asked to leave.

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is anywhere between casual and semi-formal. Definitely wear something that is comfy to you and makes you feel pretty at the same time. Please do not feel the need to go and buy something new, what you have will do :)

What is for dinner?

Answer

We will serve brisket plates with beans, rice, and potato salad as the sides. We will have water, sweet tea, and unsweetened tea as beverages.

Where do I park at the reception venue?

Answer

The address will direct you to the main church building but the parking is all the same. The white building in the middle (next to the church), the Hall, is where the event will take place. You may park anywhere near the building, but it is first come first serve. Parking may be scarce around 4:30 p.m. as the Catholic Church has their service at 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.

Of course they are! Just note that there will be loud music and alcohol.

Which hotel should I book?

Answer

La Quinta is usually our go-to chain when on vacation. They are going to be the most money-friendly. Hampton Inn has great reviews and is not a bad choice either. They are a little bit more costly compared to La Quinta, but not by much. Home2 Suites by Hilton is a newer hotel service in Brownwood, so everything is fairly new. They are going to be the most expensive out of the three listed.
