Why Fishs Eddy?

Answer

We chose this little corner of the world because it's gorgeous, tucked away between a river and a ridge, 2.5 hours from both NYC and Ithaca and has 2 (very nice) estates capable of comfortably gathering ALL of our friends and family! There's also plenty of space to read a book and have some quiet time.

Wedding Attire - what to wear?

Answer

The main goal for the weekend is to offer a space where people feel comfortable throughout the weekend, can connect with others and have some time to relax. For the ceremony on Saturday, our attire is 'wedding casual.' Our unofficial theme is "free range." Please note: The ceremony will be on grass in case this plays into footwear. Also, we'll be doing lots of dancing after so again, plan to be comfortable.

I'm busy. Can I just come for one night?

Answer

Of course! Any part of you that can show up will be welcomed. We just ask that you give us a heads up about your lodging options in advance since they are limited.

What would it look like if I came for the whole weekend?

Answer

Extremely fun. If the weather's nice, we're going tubing. There's fishing, hiking, lounging, cooking (so many kitchens), campfires, communing, making music, making friends, and just plain relaxing.

What are my lodging options?

Answer

Check out the "Travel" tab for more info. The wedding venue and adjacent estates have plenty of amenities for everyone to enjoy: including nature, large kitchens, a banquet hall, pool tables, jacuzzi, fire pit, and riverbend. We wish we could fit EVERYONE onsite, but unfortunately, we max out at 1/2 our party :( Luckily, there are plenty of gorgeous AirBnB's around, and local hotels and B&B's you can view under the "Travel" tab.

Is this wedding weekend kid-friendly?

Answer

SO kid friendly. We love the babies and it's important to us they're included (if you want!). There are plenty of rooms that accommodate families onsite as well.

What are the onsite accommodations like & when is check in / check out?

Answer

Clean, comfortable, well-appointed rooms and suites available for singles, couples, and families. There are tons of amenities including kitchens, porches, WiFi, jacuzzis, and a spa. Check in is at 3 pm, Friday the 8th and check out is 12 pm Sunday the 10th.

Yes, but just give us a heads up if this is how you plan to roll.

What about food?

Answer

There are plenty of kitchens and fridges so you're more than welcome to bring any food you would like to have throughout the weekend. Check out the "Schedule" page to see some of the meals we'll be offering. We encourage everyone to bring anything that will make your stay better. Even if you're staying offsite, you're welcome to use a fridge or a kitchen.

Will there be a shuttle service?

Answer

Yes! A shuttle will be making rounds towards the end of the evening so that everyone staying off site will have a safe ride home.

What should I bring for the wedding?

Answer

We want everyone to be comfortable during their stay so below is a list of some things you might want to consider bringing: • Any food/drink that you know you're going to want during the weekend (plenty of fridges and kitchens to go around) • Bug spray • Bathing suit • Instruments • Yoga mat (THE Lara Green will be offering a yoga class on Saturday morning) • Any yard games: balls, frisbees, etc. • Something warm for the evenings • Towels and sheets for on site guests are provided
