On November 22, 2017 we arrived in Georgia to spend Thanksgiving with family. Matt and Gia decided they wanted to go to Anna Ruby Falls for a short hike to see the waterfall. After some persuasion I decided to go along. Once we arrived we started our hike stopping to take some pictures along the way. At the top was a beautiful waterfall with a lookout area. As we turned to leave Matt grabbed my shoulder and as I turned around he was down on one knee with that black box every girl hopes to one day see. He asked me to marry him with the most beautiful ring. Of course I said YES! We shared our joyful moment with Gia and continued to hike back down.
