What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
If you plan on attending the ceremony it will start at 4:00 PM. Please arrive 15 to 30 minutes before the ceremony to get settled.

What should I wear?
Answer
Costumes are encouraged! Since our wedding takes place on Hallows Eve, we invite guests to embrace the spirit of the night with Day of the Dead inspired attire, gothic elegance, Halloween costumes, or festive spooky styles. Think sugar skull makeup, marigold crowns, skeletons, lace, velvet, dark florals, or masquerade inspired looks. Most importantly, wear something fun and festive, you’ll be celebrating a magical night with us!

Do you have a wedding registry?

You can find all the details on the Registry page of our website. We do not have a traditional registry! In place of a traditional registry, we invite you to share a gift in your own way. QR codes will be available for contributions via Cash App, Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
We respectfully request no children at the reception, allowing all of our guests to enjoy an adults-only evening. Please don’t hesitate to contact either Christina or Matt for any questions or unusual situations regarding this matter.

Is alcohol allowed?
Answer
Yes! BYOB is strongly encouraged. Drink and dance among the marigolds and memories of the night. Some alcohol will be provided.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes, there will be limited parking available at Brackenridge Park, generally free, with on-site lots and street parking available, though popular areas like the San Antonio Zoo and Japanese Tea Garden can fill up quickly on weekends, thus requiring some searching for spots. We encourage you to carpool or use a ridesharing service!

Can I bring a plus one?

To ensure we can accommodate all our beloved guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Thank you for understanding! Please contact either Christina or Matt for any questions regarding this matter.

What happens if it rains?
Answer
“It can’t rain all the time.” Our ceremony will take place on the deck patio but if we must relocate, the ceremony will be moved under the pavilion.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Yes, we encourage you to take photos and share them on social media! Please use our wedding hashtag #MattandChristinaBeyondTheVeil so we can see all your wonderful pictures.
