We're getting married!

We like to say we’re proof the apps can work — if you actually meet in person. Our first date wasn’t meant to be extraordinary, but somehow it was. We shared tacos under a full moon, laughing like old friends, and left with that electric sense of oh… this is something. One date turned into another, and before long, we both knew — in that quiet, steady way — that this was forever. Matt had just moved to California with a car full of books and clothes when he met Christian, only days after arriving. With his big truck and even bigger heart, Christian helped turn an empty apartment into a home and a brand-new city into a life. Not long after, Scooby and Kitty doubled the size of their family, teaming up for late-night treat heists and sealing the deal. By our first anniversary, the proposal felt less like a surprise and more like the final line in a chapter already filled with laughter, desert road trips with the pets, quiet mornings, and knowing glances that said you’re home. So we’re returning to where the story began: Joshua Tree. Where we took our first trip as a couple. Where the sky stretches endlessly like you’re on an alien planet. Where we’ll stand beneath the same kind of stars that watched over our beginning, and begin again — this time as husbands.
