Flight
SJU (San Juan Airport) is in the San Juan metro area, about a 3-hour drive to Rincón. We recommend the northern route. SJU offers the most flights and typically the lowest fares, especially for long-distance travelers. Miami and Houston are the best connecting hubs due to shorter air time, more flight options, and fewer winter delays, another option is through NYC. Major airlines include American, JetBlue, United, Southwest, Frontier, and Spirit. If flying into SJU, we suggest renting a car. If time allows, consider exploring San Juan before or after your trip to Rincón!
Flight
BQN (Aguadilla) is about a 45-minute drive to Rincón. It offers fewer flight options than SJU and is usually slightly more expensive, though prices are often similar. Most flights connect through JFK, Newark, or Orlando, with service mainly from United and JetBlue. If you're short on time or want to avoid renting a car, BQN is a convenient choice. You can also consider flying into BQN and out of SJU for a flexible travel plan.

Travel Note
We recommend renting a car for your visit to Rincón, especially if you’re staying longer than just for the wedding. While Rincón’s main areas (Sandy Beach, Domes, Marias/Tres Palmas, the Pueblo, Stella/Corcega) are only 10-15 minutes apart, Ubers are rare. Having a car is convenient for beach days and dinners around town. You don’t need an SUV for paved roads, but if you’re exploring remote beaches in Aguadilla or other areas with dirt roads, an SUV is ideal. For San Juan, a car isn’t necessary as Uber is easy to use. For the welcome party and the wedding, complementary transportation will be provided for our guests from select areas in Rincón to the venues, details will follow.
