8 years ago, we met working at Heidelberg Distributing. Brynn was in the on-premise wine division, while Matt was on the off-premise wine team. Our relationship was slow to start—we started to hang out after hours at work events and eventually ended up as teammates on the Heidelberg soccer team. After 4 years, Matt finally built up the courage to ask Brynn out on a date and the rest is history. Although we are not an office secret, Matt still refuses to sit next to Brynn at our weekly work meetings—you know, to keep it professional.

Brynn was in Cincinnati trying on bridesmaid dresses for her friend Kims wedding. Followed by drinks with her best friends Kim and Hailee. After drinks we walked to Fountain Square and to my complete surprise Matt was standing there with flowers in hand! He got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife! It was a picture perfect proposal that continued with a horse drawn carriage ride around downtown Cincinnati. To top it off, he shocked Brynn again with a surprise engagement party at a brewery with all our friends and families. I would say he knocked this one out of the park!
