A relationship tested by time and distance, Brooke and Matthew began their journey in the Summer of 2016. While working together as coaches for children’s sports camps, the two bonded over their love for Christ and sports and began dating on the 19th of June. Brooke was born and raised a Texas girl in Keller who has grown up with a love for animals and Texas A&M. With no real reasoning, she knew that being an Aggie just felt right. Matthew happened to be not just an Aggie, but a member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band. The two spent their first year together with Brooke at home in North Texas and Matthew in College Station. Brooke provided much needed support for the relationship by traveling most weekends to visit Matthew for gamedays and to watch his basketball games in Houston throughout the Spring semester. The following year, Brooke joined Matthew in College Station and the two grew closer through time together at Aggie football games, studying, and spending time with their loving friends. The next year, Brooke and Matthew enjoyed their final year in College Station. Brooke attended every home football game and joined Matthew on the front row for Aggie games and gave him the love and support to fight through his final year in the Corps of Cadets and Texas A&M. In January of 2019, Brooke and Matthew made it official that they wanted to continue this crazy ride together forever by getting engaged on the 19th. The two have a love for one another that revolves around our Lord and is an unbreakable bond. As the relationship began on June 19th, so will their marriage this year in 2020. These two will be together and love one another, forever and always.
