Groom
Resident dad joke extraordinaire. Likes a chip. Loves a pretzel. Don't underestimate his competitive nature, especially at scrabble. Just about the most damn fun time you'll ever have. Won the bride over with some raging dance moves at a club known as Barcelona where she will never step foot in again.
Bride
"You're too cute to work here" were the first words this beauty queen bride said to her future groom as they prepared for an exciting New Years Eve celebration. After a little game of hard to get, she finally won him over with her amazing singing voice, killer looks, spicy attitude and of course kiwi. If you ever need a shot she is your girl. If you don't need a shot, well, she's gonna get you one anyway. The grooms favorite dance partner, travel partner, and life partner.
Best Man
Matt Kline is the long time best friend of the groom. The Matts met in Jr. High and competed together in wrestling and football throughout high school. Unfortunately he never was able to beat the groom. Known then as Crazy Kline, Matt now resides in Pittsburgh with his wife and kids and only reserves "Crazy Kline" for special occasions. Maid of Honor
Sabrina and Brigette shared an apartment for five years and lived together when Matt and she met. She is always the person to help Brigette find whatever item she has recently lost, most often her phone. Well known for under-average height but beyond average wit.
Groomsman
Jake was a roommate and teammate of the groom for 3 years at the University of Dayton. You will spot him by his coiffed hair and hipster glasses. Jake and Matt ventured on a month long road trip across the country after graduating from college. This is where Jake wrote the award winning blog "Big Cat and Brownbear's Great Migration". http://brownbear-bigcat.blogspot.com/ A worthwhile use of your remaining quarantine time. Enjoy.
Bridesmaid
Brigette was terrified of Sylvia when she first met her until she saved her life one fateful summer night. She is the person you should talk to for how to spend your millennial Sundays brunching, where to go in an obscure part of town, or how to bake a random good. Well known to love a Nutcracker and a cookie duo.
Groomsman
Ross played football and lived with the groom for 3 years throughout college at the University of Dayton. Ross is a successful businessman known for firm handshakes and friendly conversation.
Bridesmaid
Brigette and Ally became friends one wild summer of their youth. Known to spike your Gatorade before a kickball game and to be a master at finding the best time in any city she graces with her presence. Well known for making the room fall in love with her, tiny, (kind of) English self.
Groomsman
Rob Kaebnick and the groom met in Mexico each on vacation. They realized they were each going to Dayton and decided to live together freshman year. Known to be injury prone through college, Rob managed to keep his sarcastic sense of humor throughout.
Bridesmaid
When Brigette first met Stephanie, she greeted her with an aggressive bear hug, which 100% surprised the pants off Steph. Brigette has been known to resurrect this awkward encounter when she has imbibed too much and is "feeling the love". Steph is well known to hold her own in the Riddle voice matches and roast you with some searing wit if you act a fool. (Also an unknown fact, she is Matt's sister.)
Groomsman
Brad played football and lived with the groom at the University of Dayton. He is known for his undying love for all things Louisville and Kentucky Bourbon. "Ls UP!"
Bridesman
Brigette met Bobby Joe when she hired him to work the Legislative Session in her former role as Chief of Staff. She thought he was brilliant and capable and likely a major pain in the a**. She hired him anyway and got a best friend out of the deal. Well known to call you 'Henny", spill the political tea, and know the most obscure facts about just about anything. Also is a health law attorney and says the 'rona is real.
Father of the Groom
Steve a.k.a. the last real man left has been a consistent source of love and support for the groom. When he is not hunting or submitting his foe in the gym you will find him cracking jokes on one of the many Riddles. Is often chagrined by the brides over exuberance. P.S. Don't judge if his shoes are old. He spends all his money buying his kids shoes and can't afford new ones for himself... ...apparently.
Mother of the Groom
Mary Jo, best mother ever, has always held her son in the highest regard. Even those few years at the beginning when he had not quite grown into his head. She has welcomed the bride into the family with open arms and continues to offer loving support to the couple. Commonly found with a glass of red and a piece of dark chocolate. Find her in the spring by following the purple glow radiating from the house for her summer gardening preparation.
Jr. Bridesmaids
These two ladies have the very important task of chronicling the evening with a Polaroid. They take their family commitments very seriously so don't mess with their good work ;)
Honorary Good Girl
Kiwi is the beloved Chiweenie of the bride and groom. Given to the bride by her mother as a way to thrust her into more responsibility during college. Kiwi took to the groom very quickly and has never left his lap since.
Mother of the Bride
Maria's biggest goal was for Brigette to fulfill her dreams, one of those dreams being having a large family. Maria spent her last Christmas with the Riddle family in Pittsburgh at the Riddle Ranch. She got to experience the Steeler Nation and swung the 'Terrible Towel' with the family during a game. She ventured to the original Riddle family home with Kiwi the Chiweenie in tow to meet the eldest of the Riddles. She left Pittsburgh knowing just why Brigette fell in love with the Riddle family in the first place, and was quite in love herself. She will be with us in spirit and energy, and beyond proud, "Yall finally did the damn thing." Rest in Peace. We love you.
