FAQs

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony at St. Josephat. It will start promptly at 13:00 and go until 14:00. Yes, it is a full catholic mass. For the reception at Turner Hall, cocktail hour starts at 16:30 and you are welcome to arrive a bit early to get a good spot in line. A staff member will be there to direct you.

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

There is a parking lot at St. Josaphat, as well as street parking. We recommend staying at a hotel near Turner Hall so that you can walk to the reception and the afterparty. There are also pay lots and street parking. The parking code for 20% off the posted rate in the South lot next to Turner Hall is 607TNR. You can park, walk to the electronic paystation, enter your license plate number, choose 'Turner Hall Event' and then enter that coupon code when prompted.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotel?

Answer

There is no hired transportation. We recommend driving or ridesharing to get to St. Josaphat and there are many hotels within walking distance of Turner Hall.

Question

Will I need to head to the reception straight from the ceremony?

Answer

There is a 2.5-hour gap between the end of the ceremony (14:00) and happy hour at Turner Hall (16:30). Check out the "Things to Do" page for Milwaukee exploration ideas.

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

For reasons, including the safety of little ear drums, this is an adult-only event. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Please check the registry tab at the top for links. We're registered at West Elm, Zola, and Amazon.

Question

Hotel Accommodations?

Answer

We recommend staying at The Trade Hotel (Matthew's favorite), Aloft, or Hyatt Regency. Hotel Block at The Trade Aloft 20% off Corp/promo code: C3966

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We plan to have a fully open bar with premium options and plenty of local beers. Come thirsty!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Attire is something like semi-formal/cocktail. The ceremony is in a church, but we want you to be comfortable enough to dance the whole night! Pro-tip from Bri: bring your really old boat shoes that your mom hates to dance in!

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

Thanks for asking! We want you to be in the moment with us, so please refrain from using phones and cameras. Plus, we went all out when we hired our photography & videography team - be our guest the they'll take care of the rest!
