We met in August 2021 as Resident Advisors at Bragaw Hall at NC State and quickly became fast friends. We spent countless late nights watching movies and The Vampire Diaries until 4 a.m.—trying (and failing) to keep our relationship a secret from Brianna’s suitemates. Let’s be honest… everyone knew. By February 2022, we officially started dating, and not long after had our first date at Amedeo’s, a Raleigh classic. Since then, we’ve created a life full of laughter, love, and little adventures. From exploring every corner of Charleston, to our endless camping and fishing trips, and caring for our ever-growing furry (and finned) family—including guinea pigs and rabbits for a short period of time, our countless fish, and now our dogs and cats—each chapter of our story has brought us closer together. We’ve stood by each other through countless milestones: graduating from college, moving in together, starting new chapters in our careers and lives—all while supporting, challenging, and loving each other every step of the way. On May 6, 2025, at home surrounded by memories playing on a heartfelt slideshow, Matthew popped the question. Brianna immediately burst into tears—and said yes. Brianna loves Matthew’s personality and his immense heart. Matthew loves Brianna’s goofiness and the way she cares so deeply for the people (and animals!) around her. We've grown not just as individuals, but as partners—and we can’t wait for the next chapter. We’re so excited to celebrate our wedding day with all the people who have been part of our journey.
