Located in The Bowl (an area walkable from the Ballantyne Hotel and Aloft Hotel) This is a cute wine bar offering boutique wines, craft beers and cocktails. As for food they offer awesome charcuterie boards and sharables. Our favorites are the Pepper Jam & Goat Cheese Bruschetta and the Mushroom Fondue.
Cast Iron Waffles
Our favorite breakfast spot in Charlotte! This is the perfect place for a quick service breakfast! My favorite waffle is the Sticky Bun Deluxe and Matt's is the Peanut Butter Cup!
Chuy's
A 10-minute drive from The Ballantyne Hotel. One of our favorite restaurants in Charlotte! A casual and fun Tex-Mex spot with great queso and margaritas! Matt's order is the steak burrito and mine is the Chicka-Chicka Boom-Boom enchiladas with a Texas 'Tini!
Bossy Beulah's
Located in The Bowl (an area walkable from the Ballantyne Hotel and Aloft Hotel) This is a great place to go if you are looking for a quick bite and a great fried chicken sandwich! The owner, Jim Noble, owns several restaurants around the city including Noble Smoke (our favorite BBQ spot).
The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery & Biergarten
