Although Matt would tell you we first started talking because I "liked" one of his pictures on instagram, Matt and I have always had the same friends group growing up. We always knew of each other but never really hung out, we maybe passed each other at a party or happened to be at the same bar. Matt worked the door at Young Shing in Auburn and I happened to really like mai tais. After hearing Matt was "interested" in me through a mutual friend I decided to grab one of my best friends and go pay him a visit at work one night. I think after that night the rest was history! We instantly exchanged numbers and started hanging out, Matt spent every night at my apartment which was new for me because I never lived with a boyfriend before, and that's when I knew things were getting serious. After a couple months of dating Matt had mentioned he wanted kids. As a kid I never really dreamed of a big beautiful wedding but I DID dream of being a mom. Soon (like really soon) after we had our first little boy Maddox. On Maddox's first birthday while we were opening gifts Matt secretly scooped Maddox away and changed him into a onesie that read "Will you marry daddy?" I was SHOCKED, as if I didn't already have the family I dreamed of now I get to marry the most perfect father and boyfriend. They say the first year having kids is always the hardest, we joked that we made it a year with a baby and still liked each other! HAHA What Matt and I share is everything I've always dreamed of and now we finally get to seal the deal. It's been a LONG road of planning, we were planning on tying the knot and then COVID happened. We pushed out the wedding a year and then found out our original venue stopped doing weddings. We've now been engaged for 3 years, we have two of the craziest most perfect little boys Maddox and Levi, next thing on the list... MEET ME AT THE ALTER IN YOUR WHITE DRESS. We can not wait to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with everyone near and dear to us!
