Our Wedding Celebration has been POSTPONED!

Bobbi and Matt first met through their love of sports. Jonathan, one of Matt’s groomsmen, invited Bobbi to play in a fantasy football league that Matt created. When Matt first heard about Bobbi joining the fantasy football league, he thought Bobbi was a man. So naturally, when she first arrived with one of Matt’s friends, he thought she was their mutual friend’s date, and that the real Bobbi was late. As the minutes ticked by, Matt became more and more annoyed with the new fantasy football player “Bobbi” and thought “he” was not coming, especially after having ordered cheese pizza especially for “him”. Matt eventually went to Brandon, his soon to be Best Man, and asked “Where is Bobbi??!” Brandon told Matt “she’s the person sitting on your couch” Matt took one look at Bobbi, smiled, and said “Oh she can stay!’ That was the night they first met. Over the next three years, Bobbi and Matt had limited contact with each other aside from a few exchanged social media comments and group text messages. This all changed in the fall of 2016, when Matt took a trip to Thailand. Their shared love of travel instantly sparked a closer friendship between the two of them. Bobbi and Matt began to stay up until the wee hours of the night texting while he was away. Matt decided that he was going to pursue more than just friendship with Bobbi when he returned from Thailand. They saw each other at a mutual friend’s birthday party. Matt saw Bobbi when she first arrived, but decided to play it cool and wait before he approached her. He invited her upstairs for a drink. Polite small talk turned into a long conversation about travel, sports, family, friends, career goals, love and God. They talked until the bar shut down - long after their friends had called it a night. Matt walked Bobbi to her car and asked her to let him take her on a date. She agreed, but only on one condition…it had to be something creative she had never done before. They went indoor skydiving and the rest is history.
