Our relationship started like all others, at the nurse's office. My leg was injured from tennis my first year in college, as was Matthew's arm, from playing center field in baseball. Fate would have us meeting to mend our respective injuries at the same place where our hearts might've played a larger part than we thought; in mending not just our bodies, but our souls. We noticed each other, but didn't say a word. Technology would have to play a small role in securing our connection, no pun intended. Matthew took the first step and initiated a 'poke war' on FB. I'm happy to say there was no loser to this war, we both won <3. -Bianca

But this is only a fraction of the height my heart leaped when I heard the three letter word come out of her mouth, as well as see tears streaming down her face from emotion. They say it takes a lot of meticulous planning to make a marriage proposal memorable, but it all came to me in a flash. I wanted to take her as close to the stars as possible without needing a space suit, because maybe then I could show her the lengths I would go to make her happy. I know she is the one because she didn't hesitate to take the chance and reach for the stars with me and say "Yes". - Matthew
