Maid of Honor
Clare and Bailey are going on 17 years of friendship. So Clare has been by Bailey's side through it all- from grade school mixers with St. Thomas Moore to surviving long distance friendship. They say once you've been friends for 10 years you'll have a friend for life. Bailey and Clare didn't need 10 years to figure that out!
Best Man
Clay and Matthew have been friends since middle school and share a love for all things science, history, and gaming. Clay is a natural speaker and entertainer, and his successful career as a professional content creator comes as no surprise to those who know him well. Their 2019 trip to Europe was a slam dunk and only cost Matthew a single appendix, and their return trip will take any remaining vestigial organs.
Bridesmaid
Michaela is Bailey's Sister-in-law, married to Danny. She is a lover of audiobooks, rosé with a slice of jalapeño, and spending time with her babies. She has been cheering Bailey on since Bailey's 6th grade championship basketball game (yes, we won!) and will continue to cheer Bailey on at the altar. Thank you for giving Bailey "cool aunt" status.
Groomsman
Danny is Bailey's oldest brother. He has a deep love for beef jerky, YouTube, and chick-fila gift cards (and his wife and kids of course). He is notoriously nick named the "monkey boy" for being absolutely wild when he was a kid, and we hope that spunk rubs off on his kids. He is one of Bailey's role models for the love he has for his family, his grit, and for the way he surrounds himself with amazing friends.
Bridesmaid
Sarah is Matthew's older sister. She is a wonderful dog mom to Mila (the cutest Frenchie in the world that always smells like maple syrup). Any meme with Creed playing in the background will make her laugh. Bailey admires Sarah's impeccable taste in martinis, her determination, intellect, and her way of making people feel special and important. Bailey also appreciates the covid haircuts she gave Matthew.
Groomsman
Jon is Matthews older brother and first friend. Matthew and Jon are partners in crime- blowing things up in the back yard when they were kids, playing video games in the kid's room, and giving Sarah a headache. Jon is a natural at sports, enjoys being outside and barefoot, and can eat a gallon of cotton candy ice cream in one sitting.
Bridesmaid
Temple aka Tempie aka THT is Matthew's step sister and lifeline for Sarah in a house full of dudes. She can ride a bike with no handlebars and has seen every single episode of CSI ever produced (including spin-offs). Temple, her husband Ted, and their kids Maya and Leah are a walking party and can always tear up a dance floor.
Groomsman
Mark is Bailey's older brother. He is the master of BBQ, the best chef in the family, and also a lover of beef jerky (it runs in the family). Strangers on the subway compliment Mark on his luscious hair. He is a total teddy bear and you can always rely on him for help.
Bridesmaid
Shannon, AKA Shannonanigans, is Baileys sister-in-law. She is married to the King of BBQ and she is the Queen of charcuterie and margaritas. Bailey's favorite memory is going to see a Weezer concert with Shannon, where they danced to Island in the Sun just like Raymond and Aquamarine.
Groomsman
Harry, who you can call Harrison, Larry, Gary, Raptor, Stealth, and Old Faithful is another old friend of Matthew's from gradeschool. He is a generational beer die talent with a perfectly healed foot to show for it. We always look forward to his late night check in calls and pointed political pontifications.
Bridesmaid
Clare is Bailey's cousin and co-founder of the "girl's club", which was for girls who grew up without sisters- but ended up with a whole bunch of chosen ones! Clare has been Bailey's role model since they were kids- there was always a Barbie named after her.
Groomsman
Husam and Matthew met in college as de facto roommates in room 302.5. They continued to live together as roommates for the rest of college, and all of their neighbors absolutely adored them with no exceptions. His music taste is second to none, and if you are unlucky enough to find yourself facing off against Hus and Matt in pong - hope you're thirsty.
Bridesmaid
Mary is one of Bailey's frousins- (cousin/best friend). Mary was one of the first to give Matthew his nickname "boomtruck" after Matthew added Boom Boom Pow by the Black eyed peas to the Door County playlist. She has been a close friend to bailey since they were little- making family trips and vacations the best of times. Cousins aren't just built in friends, but best friends for life.
Groomsman
Matheus has been one of Matthew's friends since grade school. He was the first person Bailey told about her crush on Matthew, to which he responded, "don't get your hopes up!" He then proceeded to be the ultimate wingman. Matheus has been a great friend throughout the years to both Bailey and Matthew, and they can't picture spending a perfect, sunny, Chicago afternoon without him!
Groomsman
Marko is our resident Serbian and Matthew's long time debate partner. He is a connoisseur of late night Winsteads runs and mlekshleks. He is convinced that Djokovic is the greatest tennis player of all time and Nikola Tesla was the second coming. Marko is cat-dad to Stumpy and honorary uncle to Mr. Wiggles and Kiwi.
Bridesmaid
Grace is another one of Bailey's Frousins. She is most commonly referred to as "Goose" or "Goosie". Bailey and Grace grew close in college living in the same freshman dorm and later sharing a house with their friends their junior and senior year. Their friendship is full of 99 cent corn dogs from sonic, singing in the car to Lady Gaga's "You and I" and any Demi Lovato song, and snuggles.
Groomsman
Quentin aka Q and Matthew have been friends since college where they consistently annoyed their friends with long-winded conversations that can be summarized as proper waffling. He can simultaneously discuss cutting edge physics while scoring in the top 0.1% of Monkey Ball players. Q can sustain a conversation with a brick wall and will make new friends in any situation.
Bridesmaid
Nicole is a long time friend of Bailey. Our childhood was full of backyard sleepovers, dance parties in the basement, Prairie Village pool days, and lots of couch movies. They have been there for each other through thick and thin and will continue to do so. Long distance friendships are hard, but nothing can break the bond they formed after performing for the patrons of Fun House Pizza on karaoke night.
