We’re getting married!

We first met at Deer Valley High School in Glendale, Arizona. While we were in different friend groups and different places in life, I always thought Matthew was quite the cutie with his charming smile. Fast forward to MANY years later, we ran into one another when both of us were out with friends. Connecting again felt electric, and as the saying goes…the rest is history ;)

On a gorgeous evening in San Diego, California, we were getting ready, for what I thought would be, a casual dinner with my parents, brother, and sister-in-law. When I walked through the gates of the Catamaran Resort & Hotel doors that led out to Mission Bay, he was on one knee with our dog August and luminaries that read, "Marry Me?" I was completely shocked, and with tear-filled eyes, I enthusiastically said, "YES!" and jumped into his arms. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you!
