Can I bring a date/plus one?

We are keeping our wedding very intimate. We can only accommodate the specific guests named on your invitation. Thank you for understanding and we can't wait to celebrate with you!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our venue and accommodations are adult only. Our wedding will be a retreat so you can fully relax and enjoy the party. Thank you for understanding!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is Black Tie Encouraged. We'd love to see our guests get dressed up with us! Men are encouraged to wear tuxedos and women are encouraged to wear floor-length gowns, though formal suits and cocktail dresses are welcome. Please note that the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place on grass, there will be heel stoppers provided but wear stilettos at your own discretion.

Is the wedding inside or outside?

Answer

Both the wedding ceremony and reception will take place outside on the lawn and patio of The Rowland House. Early May can be unpredictable in upstate NY, please be sure to check the weather and bring shawls or sweaters if needed. In the event of inclement weather, further details will be shared.
