We're Getting Married!

We like to think that God was creating our story long before we could have even dreamed of it ourselves. During junior year of high school, Matthew and I met for the first time even though we attended junior high and the first half of high school together. Although we had five out of six classes together, we didn't really speak to each other because Matthew slept through all our classes, until one day during a math class. Matthew miraculously woke up and by God's divine intervention, turned to me, looked me in the eyes and said, "Can I cheat off of your test?" Our first exchange of words was so romantic that the rest is history. - Ambar The romanticism didn’t stop there though. We eventually became best friends during our college years. We spontaneously went to the beach, had countless conversations for hours sitting on the curbside and developed a passion for serving on retreats at church. Then I (Matt) told her for the first time I had feelings for her and soon after left to Australia for one year! This was the start of a beautiful, yet messy foundation for our relationship today. We are each other’s laughing buddies, prayer partners and best friends. We are happy to celebrate this lifetime commitment with the most important people in our lives! - Matthew
