The unlikely bromance between a sheep farmer and an LA kid happened at Whitman. The savant and the savage. Yin and Yang sometimes make for something unexpected. They started a speakeasy in the dorms, made some new Whitman traditions, won a lot of basketball games, and a few beer pong tournaments. They're now taking their talents to sports that are less difficult on their knees and hips. If you visit Walla Walla don't be surprised to see WANTED signs for these two.

Growing up in the same neighborhood, Hailie "HaiJai" and Alyssa have been friends for years, always outside enjoying the outdoors & up for an adventure! Over fifteen years later, Lyss gets to be called "Aunty" to Hailie's two daughters, Carter & Harper!

They've been causing havoc together since they were chubby 3rd graders playing Game Boys and trading Yugioh cards. Sometimes friends grow apart. But every phase of life they've stayed close. Even though when they hang out they don't act much different than those 3rd graders hanging out.

Emily & Alyssa have been friends since kindergarten! In over 23 years of friendship Em & Lyss have played hundreds of basketball games together, shared quite a few beers (most of which over the age of 21), and now both reside back in Spokane, where they grew up together.

These two had the entrepreneur bug from the time they were born. Little did they know they would get to combine minds to throw some of the biggest parties the San Fernando Valley had ever seen. At high schools you can still hear people telling second hand stories of the Grad Party.

Fun Fact: Alyssa's dream four-some on the golf course includes Lou Points, Tiger Woods, and Charles Barkley. Alyssa & Lou's relationship started before Whitman College Golf, back in Boise, ID when Alyssa & Lou were paired together in a USGA Junior tournament in 2010!

There are only a few people who have been able to beat Matt one on one in basketball. Chris Zoida happens to be one of them. They could talk about nothing or about everything for hours. They'll probably be smoking a few cigars on the beach.

The Queen of a Good Time, Alysse Ketner! Alyssa was lucky enough to host Alysse on a prospy (prospective student) visit to Whitman not once, but TWICE! They didn't ever end up playing a basketball game together - but, did play in hundreds of beer pong games together - and have been like sisters since college.

Trying to figure out things to do during the winter in Spokane was a challenge for Matt. One day, Chad invited him to go skiing at Schweitzer. Matt only skiing once in his life said what the heck, why not! Only to get to the top of the mountain and be advised to take the black diamond. Matt made it back down and they now share a winter sport!

Beth & Alyssa were fast friends once Matt brought Alyssa home to meet the family. Their bond has grown over the last 8 years to be more like sisters! Beth can always convince Lyss to get in a quick workout (even when hungover) on family vacays!

The little bro Matt never had! They had the chance to get to know each other over the years and spent some fun nights of Matt trying to relive the glory days at WSU. They'll probably be the grown men having Sunday Funday together way after they're empty nesters.

Alyssa & Dani are known to throw together a mean charcuterie board & enjoy a good glass of wine! They have spent countless Friday nights sipping wine together over the last 6 years -- to be continued as they navigate married life & have little ones running around!

The older brother Matt never had! Alyssa told Matt that he was going to have to start golfing to be part of the family. Here's the twist, Alyssa doesn't have a patient bone. A few trips to the range with Dylan seems like years of training with Alyssa. The Maine's are the one's practicing their golf swings at the wedding.
