Question

Can I bring kids to the wedding?

Answer

Regrettably children will not be allowed at the wedding unless otherwise specially communicated with you

Can I bring a +1?

Answer

Unfortunately due to the current restrictions in place due to COVID-19 we are limited to the number of guests attending. No +1's will be allowed and invitations will be addressed to both partners where applicable.

Where do I RSVP?

Answer

Please select the RSVP tab on our website, enter your name and surname and follow the prompts to RSVP.

How do the registries work?

Answer

Please go to the registry tab on our website and select 'see registry'. You will be able to choose items from each registry and add to cart. All of our registries will handle the delivery of gifts to our home after the wedding. Should you wish to shop in store, our @Home and Yuppiechef registries should be available in store. Please make a note of the registry codes for this purpose.

Have you reserved hotel room blocks?

Answer

Rooms at the venue have been reserved for the bridal party and parents. Please refer to the travel & accommodation tab for hotel options in the area as there are no further rooms available at GROUND.

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel?

Answer

We recommend that guests partner with friends & family to book Uber vans to and from the venue. This is a much safer alternative to driving.

What should I wear?

Answer

Dress up for the celebration with formal suits and evening wear or smart cocktail dresses. Ladies avoid stilettos please, the ground is a little soft.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Warm and sunny, fingers crossed.

Where do we park?

Answer

Please keep to the road on the right as you turn into the venue. There will be signage and people to direct you once inside.

What time should we arrive?

Answer

Please arrive for the welcome drinks at 3:00pm. The ceremony will begin at 3:30pm.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony/post on social media?

Answer

You are more than welcome to do so. Don't forget to #TheShams. Please however note that there will be a professional photographer on the day who will ensure photos are taken with each guest - there will also be some set time at the photo areas for guests to take pictures with the bride and groom.

What happens between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will be some canapés and entertainment available while the bride, groom and bridal party take photographs. A photo area will be set up for guests to enjoy as well.

What food will be served and what if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

You will have the option of noting dietary requirements when you RSVP.

Question

What time is the reception scheduled to end?

Answer

Bar staff and waiters will not be available post 11 pm. Please ensure that you have left the venue by 12 pm.

What safety measures will be in place regarding COVID-19?

Answer

Please be advised that following restrictions in place, we are cleared to host people up to 50% of the venue capacity. Please ensure that you inform us immediately should you contract the virus - regrettably we cannot allow anyone who has tested positive or has been in contact with anyone who has tested positive 2 weeks before the wedding date. You are welcome to wear masks should you like to take an extra precaution. We advise all guests to be responsible and maintain social distancing throughout the event. Seating arrangements have been considered to assist social distancing and sanitiser stations will be placed at various points around the venue. Thanking you all in advance for your co-operation in keeping each other safe.
