By what date should I RSVP?

May I attend the ceremony?

Answer

As much as we would love to have everyone there, we will be having an intimate ceremony due to guest limit restrictions at the ceremony site. We look forward to joining everyone together at the reception site!

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift! However, if you wish to honor us with a gift, please visit our wedding registry: https://www.zola.com/wedding/matthewandalana2025/registry We truly appreciate your generosity!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal or aloha formal. Please keep in mind the reception is open air (no AC) but may still get cooler at night since the venue is by the ocean.

May I bring my children?

Answer

As much as we love your children, we are not able to accommodate guests beyond those specifically named in the invitations.

May I bring a plus one?

Answer

Please only bring the plus one named on your invitation. If your named plus one cannot attend, we kindly ask that you decline on their behalf so we may extend invitations to more of our loved ones. Thank you!

What time should I arrive at the reception?

Answer

We welcome you to join us for cocktail hour for some light pupus, cocktails, and live music! Cocktail hour will begin at 4:30 PM. Please arrive no earlier than 4:15 PM to avoid parking issues (please see parking information FAQ).

Will there be parking available?

Answer

Due to limited space, parking will be by valet service only. Please arrive no earlier than 4:15 PM. Valet service will be free for guests, but your valet drivers would greatly appreciate tips if you are happy with their service! We still encourage carpooling if possible as the parking lot is small. Please note that parking in the Kewalo Basin Park public stalls is not allowed and might result in your vehicle being towed.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Answer

Dinner will be buffet style, and we hope it will offer something for everyone. However, if you have allergies or other significant dietary restrictions, please reach out to Matthew by Saturday, January 26, so we can do our best to accommodate.

Do you have reserved blocks of rooms for guests?

Answer

As our wedding is not at a hotel, we do not have room blocks reserved.
