Lacawac Sanctuary Field Station and Environmental Education Center

More than just our wedding venue, Lacawac offers many beautiful trails and a private beach with kayak access (BYOK). Please visit their site for trail maps and visitor center information.

Lake Wallenpaupack

PA

Lacawac sanctuary also borders Lake Wallenpaupack. This lake is one Pennsylvania's largest reservoirs. Check out "8 Activities to Do Around Lake Wallenpaupack" for all the area has to offer.

Promised Land State Park

Promised Land State Park has lake beaches, boat rentals, and hiking trails. Many of these trails are well-maintained but Aine, Dylan, Matt, and Mona got over 200 ticks from trying to circumnavigate the lake so don't do that. ★★★★★- Lxodes scapularis

Stunning and easily accessible waterfall. Cross the street to hike Milford Knob where Aine and Matt went on their first hike together.
