We're Getting Married!

Matthew and Abigail met at callbacks for a college theatre production, and for both of them, they had just met a new friend, nothing more. When they were both cast in the same production, they had a lot of time to get to know each other. By the very first rehearsal, somehow, they had already come up with their own secret handshake. Which they still do to this day before a show if they get the chance to perform together.

Matthew and Abigail have taken couples photos together several times. It almost ends up being an anniversary photoshoot every year. So 2025 was no different for Abigail. She knew the proposal was coming by the end of the year. But Matthew knew exactly when he wanted to ask the question. At Balboa Park in San Diego, on November 2nd. Abigail's best friends were there to capture the moment. The moment was perfect, and they got to celebrate at Abigail's childhood home that evening with their closest friends and family.
