BOOK BY 3/11/19 to get in the group rate. $129/night | This hotel is just up the road from the venue, about 3 miles. There is a shopping center really close with Jimmy John's, Del Taco, and a couple breakfast spots. Up the road is Santora's Pizza Subs & Wings, which holds a special place in Matt's heart.

Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa

BOOK BY 3/12/19 to make sure you get the group rate! $239/night | This is where the wedding party will be staying. We are planning to host a rehearsal dinner/welcome event for out of town guests on Friday afternoon/evening, and this hotel is right across the street (.6 mile walk). The hotel also overlooks Dana Point Harbor, which has a ton of restaurants and fun shops.

John Wayne Airport

Southern California has many airports, but SNA is definitely the easiest because of its size and location. It's 18 miles north of the Hampton Inn & Suites & 25 miles from the Laguna Cliffs Marriott. Once in Orange County you can likely Uber/Lyft most places, or walk to nearby shops and restaurants. It's probably $30-$40 ride from SNA to either of the hotels. Please keep in mind that the Marriott also charges for parking :( Here are some other airports and some tips: LAX (Los Angeles International) - About 60 miles north - Make sure to avoid the 73 toll road. Take the 405 south to the 5 south. LA traffic can be awful, and the rental car situation here is less than ideal. SAN (San Diego) - About 60 miles south - San Diego traffic can be just as bad as LA going north from Del Mar to the Oceanside area in the weekday afternoons. After that, it typically opens up. ONT (Ontario) - About 60 miles inland, but likely not an economic option unless flying from the west coast or Chicago.
