Despite growing up 15 minutes from one another and both attending Indiana University, Jill and I did not meet until the Summer of 2011 in the city of Chicago. We left Bloomington that Summer for internships in the Windy City where a mutual friend, to whom I am eternally greatful, introduced me to the carefree woman that we all know and love. The past eight years have been incredible and I look forward to spending the rest of my life with Jill.
After seven years of deliberation, Jill finally agreed to marry me on a sunny afternoon in Santa Barbara, CA. We decided not to travel home for Thanksgiving 2018, which provided us the opportunity to spend a long weekend away from Los Angeles. We spent Thanksgiving with friends and their wonderful family, and the next morning Jill accompanied me north for the next chapter in our relationship. I proposed on the patio of our bungalow at the Belmond El Encanto while we enjoyed a bottle of wine and a view of the Pacific Ocean. We spent the next three days celebrating our engagement in a very special part of the world. Jill and I are excited to share our wedding day with each one of you, we look forward to seeing everyone in Palm Springs!
