Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as you’re able and no later than June 27th, 2022.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The Ceremony will start at 4pm sharply. Please arrive to the Church at 3:30pm in order to ensure everyone is seated and we are ready to start at 4 (remember Chicago traffic isn’t always friendly! Account for backups)

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal Dress Code. Black-Tie Optional. Ladies: Long Dresses. Gentlemen: Tux or Suit and Tie.

Question

Are children allowed at the wedding?

Answer

We invite you to take the night off, enjoy the night with your partner and leave the kiddos at home. We would love to accommodate everyone, however we cannot accommodate them at the reception. Please refer to your invite for reception invitations. If the littles will be joining you on your trip to Chicago, we would love to see them the night before at our Welcome Meet Up. Thank you for understanding.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please include this information on your RSVP.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please visit our Travel page for Hotel Block Advice! We have blocks at three different hotels, please utilize those!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There will be free parking at the parking garage next to the Church. Please make sure to validate your parking before exiting. 311 W Illinois Building. There is some street parking available for the reception. Due to this, we highly recommend you to Uber/LYFT to and from the ceremony.

Question

COVID-19: Do I need to provide proof of vaccination or a negative test in order to attend the wedding?

Answer

As of Mar2022, The City of Chicago is no longer requiring proof of vaccination. Our venue is within City of Chicago/Cook County limits. Our venue bases their guidelines off of the Cook County mandates; these are subject to change as we near the wedding date and Omicron levels decrease - like previous Vaccine Mandates. We will keep this page updated as things progress. We, as a couple, value science and urge you to do your part in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic through obtaining your vaccination. Please keep in mind the soon-to-be-married health (as a high risk couple) and all the other attendees as you make your decision to attend the wedding.
