FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding dress code is formal. For women, this means a long, floor-length evening gown or a nice pantsuit. For men, a dark hued suit and tie with jacket are appropriate. Need a visual guide? Copy this link: https://canva.link/po7vqqtpczvf696 For the ceremony, we will be in a sacred space with the Blessed Sacrament present. Please be mindful of covering your shoulders (shawl or light cardigan). Shorts, t-shirts, jeans, short skirts/short dresses, hats and other casual attire are not appropriate. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

When can I RSVP?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate with you! Our RSVP will officially open as we get a bit closer to the wedding. Keep an eye on your mailbox for your official invitation!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 3:00pm. Please arrive at least 15-25 minutes before the ceremony to get settled.

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

We are so grateful for your love and support as we begin this exciting chapter of our lives! Instead of a traditional wedding registry, we prefer to have a honeymoon fund. We will also have Venmo and Zelle QR codes available at the reception. Your generosity will help us create lasting memories and contribute to our honeymoon in Scotland.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

As much as we would love every single person who has walked with us both individually and as a couple to be at the wedding, we ask that you only bring a plus one if they are included in your invitation.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We respectfully request no children (under 21 years old) at the wedding. Think of it as a night out to yourselves! However, we recognize that some of you will be traveling with your children, so please know that they are welcome at any get together before or after the wedding. (more information TBA)

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that no photos be taken during the ceremony. We would love for all guests to be completely present and for your beautiful faces to be seen in the photos when they come out! During the reception, you are more than welcome to take as many videos or photos as you like! Please make sure to share them with us after!

Question

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

Answer

For any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out by text, call, or smoke signal to Matthew or Cayla.
