We’re getting married!

We met because of a conversation that Anna had with her brother-in-law, Luke. When Anna expressed to Luke a desire to make more friends he happily invited her to join him and participate in a weekly game night that took place at the apartment of one of Luke’s friends - that friend happened to be Parker!

When we first met there was no initial spark. It was not love at first sight, but SLOWLY we became friends. That friendship eventually turned into texting every day and coming up with excuses to see each other throughout the week outside of our weekly game night. And then, after a dinner and movie date, we decided to make it official!

Parker proposed on Anna’s absolute favorite hiking trail in Post Falls, and it was a perfect match for the relationship. After making it to the highest point of the trail, we both sat down to appreciate the view. When we stood up to take some pictures and leave, Anna bent down and picked up a piece of bark, turned to Parker and said, “I got this for you!” Parker replied by saying “I got you something too,” and then pulled out the ring. The speech was beautiful, although neither of us can really remember all the was said, but Anna of course said, “Yes!”
