Everyone is welcome at mass and we are excited to share in this sacrament with you! The Mass will be about an hour and will consist of multiple prayers, readings, singing, kneeling, standing, and sitting. A general rule of thumb: if others are standing/sitting/kneeling, feel free to follow! There will be a time towards the end of Mass for Communion - those who are Catholics and prepared to receive the Eucharist are encouraged to come forward to receive at that time.
It tends to be common for Catholic weddings to have a gap between the wedding ceremony and reception as the Mass typically has to happen earlier in the afternoon to accommodate Saturday evening Masses etc. This break can be a great time to relax with your family, grab a drink/coffee, or even check into your hotel. Happy hour at the reception venue will start at 5pm followed by dinner and dancing.
After we send our formal invitations, you will be able to RSVP right here on our wedding website. Please RSVP by the deadline listed on the invitation.
We ask that no pictures are taken during the wedding ceremony. We will have a photographer to capture all the special moments in the church. Feel free to take as many pictures and videos as you'd like during the reception.
Yes! Please let Mattie and Josh know as soon as possible.
