Our story began in December 2022 when we were introduced to each other through our friends Elle and Andrew at a friends birthday party in DC. What started as a casual night out quickly turned into something more, and just a few days later we went on our first date at Ragtime in Arlington VA. From there, our relationship grew, and we continued spending time together and getting to know each other, and it quickly became clear that what we had was something special. Some of our favorite early memories include exploring museum exhibits around DC, going on long walks through the neighborhood (which was easy since we lived right down the street from each other), and trying new restaurants and foods together — including oysters for the very first time. Over time, what began as simple dates became a partnership that felt stable, easy and light, and further grew our appreciation for doing everyday life together. In November 2024, we took the next step and moved in together in Falls Church. Our family grew in March 2025 when we adopted our rescue dog, Loretta, who quickly became the center of our world. One year after moving in together, on November 14, 2025, after a treacherous sunrise hike in the dark to the top of the Lanikai Pillbox Trail in Hawaii, a question was asked, a ring was given, and through the tears - the easiest "yes". We are so grateful for the friends and family who have been part of our story so far, and we can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter with all of you.
