IMPORTANT TRAVEL/HOTEL NOTE
The hotels we have listed on the website are not required to be booked by you and your group. If you do book elsewhere (another hotel/airbnb) please make sure it is in the same area or nearby this part the lake. Even if you book near the venue and have a car that you’re able to get to the central area, then you will be fine.
Flight
Fly into Milan Malpensa - MXP or Milan Linate - LIN
Matteo and I recommend flying specifically into either Milan Malpensa (MXP) or Milan Linate (LIN) airport. While MXP is closer to the lakes and further from Milan, LIN is much closer to the city center for the ones who want to spend some more days in the city. Wedding festivites are set to commence in Lake Como on Thursday afternoon/evening so everyone should be set to arrive in Lake Como no later than Thursday morning/afternoon (July 16th). Since there is a time difference, if you dont want to be absolutely exhausted from travelling, we recommend flying into Italy a few days before to account for any delays or changes as well as ensuring your body adjusts to the time change. Feel free to plan your trip earlier if you are looking to explore and enjoy Milan prior to the wedding weekend.

*Posting Hertz but please feel free to book whatever company you would like should you want to book a car for the duration of your stay* Please feel free to book a car if you are comfortable and capable driving from Milan to Menaggio (Lake Como) Things to note: - Brush up on Italian street signs and their meanings if you plan to drive - Upon arriving to Lake Como, and even as you are approaching, note that you are driving up into the mountains slightly on very narrow roads - Some roads are reserved for pedestrians only - IF YOU DRIVE IN A PEDESTRIAN ZONE YOU WILL BE HIT WITH A FINE - Once in Lake Como, you will not need to utilize a car much as the hotels are in the area where you want to be and we will provide shuttles from the hotel to the venue.
