Flight

Ancona Airport

This airport is closest airport to the hotel (approx 30 minute car ride). Seebay hotel can assist with shuttles to/from the airport. There are also taxi's available at the airport. *If you are traveling from the U.S. note that flights usually land after 3pm so we suggest to arrive on Wednesday evening. If you are traveling by train you could come in on Wednesday evening or Thursday day.

Train

Treni Italia

This is the local train station in Ancona. If you fly into a major hub rather than Ancona airport OR are already in Italy living your best life prior to the wedding, we recommend taking the train. It likely quicker than a flight (limited flights) and more cost effective than flying into Ancona as it's a smaller airport. Definitely check both and see what best suites your travel plans. Seebay Hotel can assist with booking transportation to/from the train station. *We suggest getting first class train tickets for a more comfortable travel. *

Flight

Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport

Another good option (second closest airport) to get to our destination is the Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport. This is a larger airport and make have better flights pending where you are traveling from (not to mention a great area to visit.) You can fly into this airport and then take a train to Ancona. This train ride is approx. 1.5 Hrs. You would then catch a shuttle or taxi to the Seebay Hotel in Portonovo.

Covid Entry Requirements

This is the Covid entry requirements link from the Italian government website and has the all the current vaccination/testing/quarantine requirements for entering Italy. In light of the Covid surge there have been some additional restrictions put in place that will likely adjust again in the next month.
